LOCAL SPECIALTY DESSERT COMPANY EXPANDS TO RESTAURANT AND HOTEL MARKETS

Annapolis, MD – February 5, 2013 – Dolce Mia, a local specialty Italian dessert company based in Annapolis, MD announces its expansion into the upscale restaurant and hotel markets. Currently, their high-end desserts are sold at Whole Foods Markets in Annapolis and Mt. Washington, and also are served at The Metropolitan Kitchen and Lounge and O’Learys Seafood, both in Annapolis. “We are on our way to taking the business to the next level” says owner, Milena “Mia” Gatto. “Our desserts are unique in that they serve a niche market. Not only are they made fresh and are all-natural and preservative-free, we use the highest quality ingredients and premium liquors to make your dessert experience unforgettable.”

Dolce Mia was started by owner, Mia Gatto, in December, 2006. She inherited her passion for food from her parents who immigrated here from Sicily in 1964 and she dedicates Dolce Mia to them – living out their American dream.
